How to get there
If you are in Rio de Janeiro :
By car : go along Avenida Brasil, turn to Rio-Santos (BR-101) up to Mangaratiba (90km) or you can drive more 50 km to get at Angra do Reis. Another way to get there is go along Barra or Recreio up to Mangaratiba or Angra.This last option is faster for people who leave from Zona Sul (Rio de Janeiro).
By bus : Novo Rio Bus Station - Costa Verde Firm - phone: (21) 2-516-2437 . It has daily leave to Mangaratiba (it takes two hours and ten minutes) and Angra dos Reis (it takes two hours and forty-five minutes).
If you are in São Paulo :
By car : go along Rodovia Ayrton Senna up to Mogi das Cruzes (44km); and then go along Mogi-Bertioga up to Rio-Santos (BR-101). From there to Angra do Reis is more 310 km. Another way, longer than the first one is go Rio-Santos (BR-101) (67km) and from there to Angra dos Reis (more 343km).
By bus : go along Terminal Tietê: The Reunidas Paulista Firm - phone (11) 6-971-2210 has daily leave to Angra dos Reis (it takes six hours and thirty minutes).

A ferry can transport 500 people. You can buy tickets at Cais de Mangaratiba, Angra dos Reis and Abraão.
Note: Try to stay in this place fifteen minutes before the ferry leaves. People who don't get their tickets until the ferry leaves can go by particular boat.
Prices :
Two reais and sixteen cents during the week and nine reais on weekends and holidays.
Note: If there are too many they use extra ferries.
